Intelligent, well thought-out and intellectually stimulating, this is definitely my favorite dystopian series ever. To begin with, the title of this wonderful book is problematic. "Did you note," I asked them, "that almost all the hikers in this video were right out of college or just retired? Why do you think that is?" I got varied answers but finally had to point out to them that essentially, only people who are healthy and have lots of free time can devote 5 to 6 months just to hiking a single trail. He has zero resources - not even a soldering iron, which would be useless in any case since there is no electricity in his household. These are minor points; William is an appealing character and the story is inspiring. The Green Goblin is i bit different in this series because he doesn't ride around on a glider, but looks more like a bald Hulk with horns and a purple robe.
