Editorial : About the Author
LAURENCE PARENT is a freelance photographer and writer specializing in landscape, nature, and travel subjects. His work has appeared in Texas Highways, Texas Monthly, Texas Parks and Wildlife, National Geographic Traveler, Sierra, Natural History, Outside, Backpacker, Men's Journal, Travel and Leisure, Newsweek, and the New York Times. Additionally, he has been the photographer and/or author of thirty-five books.

Experimenting with this, he figured out how to get it to power his radio when he turned the bike pedals. Miguel Mendoza was a good replacement artist. But, the reason I ended up not just liking, but loving, this book so much was that it felt like this was a book written specifically for my kid. The book was a lot smaller than I was expecting. Happy. These things, especially the speech impediment and effeminacy, have of course been an issue with his peers, though, he does have an amazingly great group of friends, they've been friends for years now, who always stick up for him, and he has always been great at sticking up for himself, and his friends, as well.

So, while I would of read, and liked, the book no matter what, cause, despite being way too old to be in his normal demographic, I've loved joey since the first time I saw a him, in a colab on another channel. Refusing the treatment by leaving his home and going to Texas may have changed his entire life.
