That historical detail combined with such beautiful prose (peppered with some dazzling vocabulary) make this biography read like novel.

This book will tear down any superficialities that you may entertain of Mary Wollstonecraft being simply 'The Mother of Feminism', the author of 'Vindication of the Rights of Woman' and the mother of Mary Shelley. These are minor points; William is an appealing character and the story is inspiring. Amazing book to review before your visit, but also to keep with you during it! Upon entering the park we were given a map, but this book has so many more detailed maps of each area that were SO helpful! I was responsible for planning a day and a half worth of activities for my group, and this book helped me to not disappoint! It explains EVERY single feature of the park, split up according to region. It is a black background.
